Description

This 1975 vintage umeshu uses Fukui Prefecture Benisashi plums and rock sugar macerated in aged sake from the same year, making it among the oldest in the umeshu series. Decades of ambient-temperature maturation in the Gifu earthen storehouse have drawn deep, mellow complexity from the base sake, which integrates with the plum's natural acidity.
