Description
A pure rice sake from Tanaka Sake Brewery in Mimasaka, Okayama, bearing the Chuuko label, named for the foxfire phenomenon said to signal good fortune in the mountain regions of the Chugoku area. The Chuuko series uses a different yeast from the flagship Musashinosato line and is bottled as a fresh genshu for seasonal release.

It is a small liquor store that has been founded in the Ohara area of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, which is near the prefectural border of Okayama, Tottori and Hyogo in the Chugoku Mountains, and has been working on a carefully hand -made and carefully sake brewing. Now, a squeezed machine called a rare tank (fune) is lined up with a bass bag packed with moromi and squeezed slowly.
