A long-standing label from this small Mimasaka brewery, the Ohara Shirame line uses locally grown rice pressed with a rare fune press under the cold mountain climate of the Chugoku range. The brewery, founded over 130 years ago, applies hand-crafted methods throughout, from rice washing to koji making, keeping regional sake traditions intact.
