Umeshu Hikami no Meshu is a plum liqueur (umeshu) produced by Hikami Seishu in Okuizumo, Shimane, made by steeping locally sourced Shimane ume plums in sake or shochu base. It delivers the characteristic balance of tart plum acidity, natural sweetness, and fragrant stone-fruit aroma typical of high-quality artisan umeshu. The use of the brewery's regional water and craft spirit base gives this plum wine a sense of the distinctive Okuizumo terroir.
