Mizorezake (sleet sake) is designed to be served in a slushy, semi-frozen state that passes through the throat with a sharp, icy chill. From Ueda Shuzo in Nara's Ikoma district, this 70%-polished sake carries an alcohol content of 15% and a polishing ratio suited to light, clean drinking. A squeeze of lime or lemon is recommended to complement the frozen texture.
