Gokujouhakutaka es la expresión junmai daiginjo premium de Hakutaka en Nada, Hyogo, producida mediante el método tradicional de arranque de levadura kimoto-zukuri, una técnica laboriosa originaria de Nada durante el período Edo. La cervecería, fundada en 1862, utiliza exclusivamente arroz Yamadanishiki de Yokawa y el célebre agua de manantial Miyamizu, combinación que ha forjado la reputación de Nada como la principal región sake de Japón. La designación gokujo (superlativo) refleja el más alto nivel de cuidado aplicado a lo largo de toda la producción.
