创始人正木正光认为"好酿酒,需有与酒相配的泉水",这股持续涌流的水滋养出醇厚柔顺的口感。自2001年起,以现任社长为中心转为家族经营,坚守"品质是生命"的信条,主要使用四万十川源头的水和爱媛县产米,薪火相传至今。酒名"野武士"源自现任社长祖父举办的斗牛活动名称,虽酒体轻快,却深受横纲喜爱而广为人知。
