创立于1896年(明治29年),世代由出云杜氏手工酿造日本酒。1990年,酒造成为全国出云地区唯一一家复兴出云地方酒的酿造厂,时隔50年重新复活了出云地酒,成为以松江为中心的当地饮食文化的一部分。"丰乃秋"之名寓意五谷丰登、稻米与美酒皆收获丰盈,酒造以"圆润舒适"为座右铭,坚持以岛根县产原料和传统手工木器技艺,追求兼具精神与手工的酿酒之道。
