Hosokawa Shuzo, based in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, a region known for over 2,000 years as Miketsu-kuni, the Land of Food, brews Ageuma as an expression of the area's ginjo sake tradition sustained by cold winter temperatures. The junmai ginjo carries a floral aroma layered with a hint of rice, and the brewery extends its craft to beer production under the same Ageuma name, reflecting a versatile approach to fermentation rooted in the Mie brewing environment.
