Tokubetsuhonjouzou Ootakinoshizuku

Tokubetsu Honjozo Otaki no Shizuku, meaning drops of the great waterfall, evokes the mountain waterfalls that cascade through the rugged landscape surrounding Iiyama in northern Nagano. The name highlights the importance of pure, mineral-rich mountain water in the brewing process at Iiyama Shuzo. As a tokubetsu honjozo, a carefully measured addition of distilled alcohol is incorporated, producing a clean, sharp finish that complements the soft local water.
