Description

Yumekurashiki is brewed using local Okayama rice and water by a Kurashiki brewery that presses sake through an antique wooden fune, one of the last still in active use in Japan. The slow, gentle pressing yields a soft, harmonious character with a clean rice-forward finish. The label name evokes the dreamlike quality of Kurashiki's preserved historic district.

Okayama
Watanabe Sake Brewery was founded in Kamejima Nitta, Kurashiki -shi, which was opened by reclamation in the Edo period in 1907. Watanabe Sake Brewery, such as the sake brewery on the Namako wall, the chimney with bricks, and the sake forest (cedar ball) that fall at the store, remain the same as the old -fashioned liquor store in 2019. The current fourth -generation lord Hiori Watanabe has been practicing good sake brewing that has been costly in recent “multi -product species, smaller volume”, but this year, the last of Heisei, Watanabe Sake Brewery welcomes Shingori Mori Fujii, and new sake brewing. We started the challenge to. We will develop it in Japan and overseas, mainly in three new products called "Kurashiki Junmai Sake New Era".
