Description
Tokusenjunkimpakuiri Hikamimasamune is a special-grade Hikami Masamune sake from Hikami Seishu in Okuizumo, Shimane, to which pure gold leaf (kin-paku) has been added for a celebratory presentation. The sake itself follows the clean, refined character of the tokusen tier, but the suspended gold flakes make it a traditional gift and ceremonial offering item. Gold leaf is considered an auspicious addition in Japanese culture, and this expression is particularly associated with special occasions and seasonal gifting.
