This honjozo from Yamamura Shuzo in Kumamoto Prefecture is brewed in the southernmost part of Kyushu's sake heartland. Kumamoto Prefecture is the birthplace of the widely used Kumamoto yeast (No. 9), and its clear spring water contributes to this brewery's clean, food-friendly style.
