Okushimizu Honjozo uses Menkoina polished to 65% from Takahashi Shuzoten in Akita. Menkoina is an Akita-bred rice variety; brewed with the brewery's spring water sourced from the Tomizu (treasure spring) of Misato Town, this honjozo reflects the clean, pure character of Akita's celebrated brewing water.
