Mokkei Futabayama is a tokubetsu honjozo polished to 50% from Ooita Meijo in Oita Prefecture, named for the legendary yokozuna sumo wrestler Futabayama who was born in Oita. The tokubetsu designation reflects the extra polish that brings this honjozo to ginjo-level refinement.
