Midoriichi Genshu Tokubetsu Honjozo is produced by Yoshidashuzou in Osaka's Ikeda district, a city historically known for its role in Kansai sake commerce. As a genshu (undiluted) expression, it retains the concentrated alcohol and bold body that come from bottling straight from the pressing vats without water adjustment, typically landing around 18 to 20% ABV. The tokubetsu designation signals either a special rice polishing rate of 60% or below, or a proprietary brewing technique that elevates it above standard honjozo. The result is a robust, full-textured sake with the kind of grip and depth rarely found in everyday honjozo releases.
Special honjozo with refined character and clean finish.
