Kimpai Heiseinoakaonikoroshi, whose name roughly translates to Red Oni Killer of the Heisei Era, is a boldly titled sake from Kimpaishuzou in Hyogo. The onikoroshi, or demon killer, moniker traditionally refers to an exceptionally dry sake so austere it could fell even a demon. Brewed in Hyogo with the region's renowned hard water and quality rice, this expression delivers a sharp, dry, and assertive character.
