Description

Koshi Tanrei and Gohyakumangoku are polished to 70% for this junmai from Aoki Shuzo in Niigata's Minamiuonuma. Subtle, calm aroma leads into a gentle sweetness and soft rice umami that performs well both chilled and warmed. This label won gold in the Extreme Hot Sake category at the 2013 Slow Food Japan Kanzake Contest.

A sake brewery with a history of 300 years in Uonuma, a snowy country. Founded 2 years (1717). Aoki Sake Brewery's sake, which is represented by "crane -age", is created by the various grace of the snowy country and the traditional technique of Echigo Mori. Among the Niigata sake, which has many "Tanrei dry", we will aim to make the sake brewing of "Tanrei -kuchi", which leaves the original taste of sake rice, and inherits the taste for the next 100 years.
