Description
A honjozo from a Niigata brewery founded in 1866, located on a coastal dune near the Japan Sea. The Katafune style is distinctive in Niigata for its rich, round sweetness balanced by a clean finish, unlike the dry, light-bodied norm of the region. The brewery's brewing water is natural underground water filtered through sand dunes. Recommended warm to bring out the rice sweetness.
