Akitaryu Daiginjo Asanomai

🍶
Description

Crafted at Maizuru Shuzo in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, this daiginjo takes its name 'Asanomai' (Morning Dance) from cranes that gathered at a pond near the brewery at dawn when it was founded in 1918. Unlike most Akita producers, Maizuru ferments at higher temperatures to develop a distinctive character, then ages every bottle for three to five years before release. The result is a polished daiginjo with elegant floral aromatics and a layered, quietly complex finish.
