Kunimare Junmai Hiyaoroshi is a pure rice sake from Kunimare Sake Brewery in Hokkaido, released in autumn as a hiyaoroshi, meaning it was pasteurized once in spring and aged through summer before being shipped without a second pasteurization. Brewed in the frigid climate of northern Hokkaido, this seasonal release is known for its mellow, rounded character that develops during warm-weather maturation.
