Hakutsuru Umeshu Genshu is an undiluted plum liqueur made entirely from Kishu Nanko ume, the benchmark plum variety from Wakayama, produced at Hakutsuru's Nada brewery in Hyogo. Unlike standard umeshu that is cut with water before bottling, genshu goes directly from the steeping vessel to the bottle, delivering a richer, more concentrated fruit intensity and fuller body. The higher alcohol content amplifies the deep, apricot-tinged sweetness balanced by a vivid tartness.
