Mayahime Densetsu, meaning 'Legend of Princess Maya,' is the daiginjo prestige label of Manatsuru Shuzo in Echizen Ono, Fukui Prefecture, a brewery whose history traces to the Horeki era of the mid-Edo period. Echizen Ono is famed for Oshozu, one of Japan's 100 Famous Waters, and for Gohyakumangoku sake rice, both of which contribute to the house's signature clean, mineral elegance. This daiginjo delivers a refined floral fragrance, a silky texture, and a gracefully dry finish.
