- 1853Matajiro began sake brewing in 1853 (Kaei 6), the founding of the family's sake business in Bancho, Yamatokoriyama.
- 1856He became independent in 1856 (Ansei 3) and set up his own household across the street.
- 1858In 1858 (Ansei 5) he became an official merchant of the Yanagisawa domain, was granted the right to bear a surname, and took the name Nakatani.
- 1996Released the sake 'Toyotomi Hidenaga' to coincide with the broadcast of the NHK historical drama 'Hideyoshi'.
- 2003Won the gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai).
- 2011Won the gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal.
- 2014Won the gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal.
- 2026Renewed and relaunched the sake 'Toyotomi Hidenaga' (60% rice polishing, Junmai Ginjo, brewed via the affiliate in Tianjin, China) to coincide with the NHK historical drama 'Toyotomi Brothers!'.
