Trayectoria
- 1818Omi merchant Yamanaka Shokichi began sake brewing in Fujinomiya during the Bunsei era (1818-1830), later establishing four breweries around the Fuji area.
- 1929Hyoji, the second son of Yamanaka Shokichi, branched off and founded Yamanaka Shuzo Goshigaisha in Yokosuka (present-day Kakegawa City).
- 1986Second-generation Takashi Yamanaka began brewing the Aoitenka brand.
- 1986Aoitenka received its first gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal.
- 1999The brewery began having the brewery owner personally handle brewing, rather than relying on a toji or brewery workers.
- 2020Hisanori Yamanaka, the third son, became representative partner.
- 2021The company reorganized as a stock corporation and joined the Hamatomo Group, renaming itself Enshu Yamanaka Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.
