- 1990Declining nationwide sake consumption forced the brewery to suspend production.
- 1995Daisuke Komatsu, the eldest son who had been working in Tokyo, quit his job and returned home determined to revive the brewery.
- 1997Preparations for resuming production began, including cleaning the brewery.
- 1998Production resumed after an 8-year hiatus, brewing 80 koku of sake and 20 koku of shochu; the daiginjo Manrei brewed that first year won an award at the Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau's sake competition.
- 2005Began selling plum-based liqueurs 'Momoko' and 'Sumomo Umeshu' made with local plums.
- 2012Began producing mirin using glutinous rice from Saga Prefecture.
