加能酒造自1819年创业以来，致力于稻米与茶叶的种植，每逢丰收之年便与农民同庆，并祈愿丰收年年延续，"上喜元"之名由此而来。酿酒原料采用自家种植的山田锦及加贺五百万石，以白山清澈地下水"白水之井"酿造，由能登杜氏传承传统技艺，手工精心酿制而成。
