Goshun Honjozo is the classic honjozo from Goshun in Ikeda City, Osaka, brewed with the pure water that made Ikeda famous as one of Edo Japan's premier sake cities. The brewery's name honors Matsumura Goshun, the celebrated Shijo school painter born in Ikeda, and this honjozo reflects the restrained, elegant aesthetic of that artistic legacy.
