Dai Tengu

Daitengu Shuzo was established in 1872 in Motomiya City, Fukushima, with the founding generation naming their sake after the fearsome Tengu deity associated with bold strength and good fortune. Under fifth-generation toji Saori Kobari, the brewery maintains traditional methods including funashibori vat pressing and small-batch production, allowing each vintage to reflect the character of its year. The flagship Dai Tengu sake uses locally grown Yume no Kaori rice.
