Tosatsuru Sake Brewing has earned more cumulative gold medals at Japan's National New Sake Competition than any other brewery in the country, with 49 gold awards across its history. Located in Yasuda-cho in Kochi Prefecture's eastern reaches, the brewery draws from seven wells of soft water enriched by the forests and clean waters of the Yasuda River watershed, selecting the appropriate source for each style of sake.
