Seiryu

Seiryu is produced by Seiryu Shuzo, a brewery in Hasuda City, Saitama Prefecture with origins dating to the transition from the Edo to Meiji period in the mid-19th century. The brewery takes an unusually direct approach to the market, selling sake without going through wholesalers and operating its own izakaya restaurants in Tokyo. This close relationship with the drinker informs a straightforward, honest style of sake making rooted in the local Kanto brewing tradition.
