Sake Brand
Nihonbashi
Nihonbashi is brewed by Yokota Shuzo, founded in 1805 in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture, where abundant high-quality groundwater has supported sake brewing for two centuries. The brand's name carries historical weight, tracing to the founder's apprenticeship in Edo-period Tokyo near the famous Nihonbashi bridge. Yokota Shuzo has won more Gold Prizes at the Annual Japan Sake Awards than any other brewery in Saitama Prefecture, and in 2023 an expression earned the IWC Trophy Award.
