Kuninocho is produced by Kotobuki Shuzo, founded in 1822 in Takatsuki, Osaka Prefecture, in the Settsu-Tonda district once called the country of brewing for its centuries-old sake-making heritage. The brewery simultaneously produces sake, craft beer — Osaka's first craft beer — and shochu, carrying forward the Tonda tradition while remaining one of only a handful of active breweries in Osaka.
