Izumibashi
Izumibashi(泉橋) is a sake brand crafted by Izumibashi Shuzo in Kanagawa, Japan. Explore their full lineup of 16 sakes on OneSip.
Izumibashi Shuzo, established in 1857 in Ebina, Kanagawa, coined the trademarked designation saibai jozo-gura (cultivation-brewing brewery) to describe its integrated model in which sake rice is grown on surrounding farmland, milled on site, and fermented in the same complex. Since 1996, the brewery has partnered with local farmers through the Sagami Sake Rice Research Association to supply 90 percent of its rice, and since 2006 it has brewed entirely in the junmai style without added alcohol. The red dragonfly on every Izumibashi label is a pledge of pesticide-reduced cultivation in the paddies surrounding the brewery.
