Fundada em 1660 em Miwa, Nara, onde habita o deus do sake. Desde os tempos antigos, Miwa e venerada como o 'deus do sake' e o 'deus ancestral da fabricacao'. A cervejaria trabalha com dedicacao na producao de sake sob os auspícios do santuario mais antigo do Japao, o Santuario Ogami. O conceito de fabricacao e 'beber o sake como um triciclo'. A agua utilizada no preparo e a agua subterranea do Monte Miwa, que brota do poo Kuraiuchi dentro do santuario.
