Localizada a cerca de 12 km a noroeste do centro de Fukui, na margem oeste do Rio Kuzuryu, a cervejaria iniciou a producao em 1871. Abencada pelo melhor da regiao proxima a costa de Echizen, busca diariamente o sabor e a beleza autenticos do sake. O arroz local, como Yamada Nishiki, 5 milhoes de pedras e Hua Echizen, e cultivado em campos proprios, polido na adega e usado em pequenas quantidades. Todos os produtos sao sake de arroz puro, com o objetivo de ser uma verdadeira industria local.
