Funaki Junmai Ginjo Gentei Nihyakkan utiliza Shinriki, uma das variedades de arroz para sake mais antigas do Japão, em um lançamento limitado de 200 kanme (750 kg) da Funaki Shuzo em Fukui, fundada em 1866. A água extraída a 150 metros abaixo da planície aluvial do Rio Kuzuryu e o raro arroz Shinriki se combinam para homenagear a afirmação da cervejaria de ter sido a primeira a fermentar ginjo na Prefeitura de Fukui.
