O nome Hishun evoca a chegada jubilosa da primavera, sugerindo que este pode ser um lançamento sazonal ou comemorativo da marca Tamanoharu. Os invernos frios de Iwate oferecem condições ideais para a fermentação lenta e em baixa temperatura que define a produção de daiginjo de alta qualidade.
