Description

Gensenjozo (carefully selected brewing) grade sake from the Minamo series of Yoshinogawa in Niigata, made with Niigata Prefecture rice polished to 65% and distilled alcohol derived from the brewery's own sake. The added alcohol is sourced in-house rather than externally, lending a clean, dry character that holds up across warm, room-temperature, and cold serving temperatures.

Yoshinogawa Co.,Ltd

"The oldest Ginjozo in the prefecture that always challenges. Yoshinogawa is a sake brewery founded in the Warring States, astronomical for 17 years. Echigo's tiger, Kenshin Uesugi, has been protecting the tradition and has brewed Echigo's good sake for 470 years. But I did not do the same thing. It was 470 years of the challenge. Challenge to keep it the same. That is Yoshinogawa."
