Description
Warakugoson Nigorinamazake from the Warakugoson brand in Wakayama is a cloudy (nigori) unpasteurized (namazake) sake, bottled with a portion of the rice solids left in the liquid to create its characteristic milky appearance and creamy texture. As a namazake, it is not heat-treated, preserving the lively, fresh fermentation aromas and a slightly effervescent quality. Wakayama's soft water and the raw bottling process combine to give this seasonal style a rich, sweet-tinged, and vibrant character.
