Description

Shinkai Ginfubuki (Silver Snowstorm) Hishakusake at 55% polishing from Fujimoto Shuzo in Koka, Shiga, is drawn with the traditional hishaku ladle, an artisanal serving method that evokes Edo-period sake culture. Brewed with soft well water from the Yamamura Shrine on the brewery's grounds, where the miraculous discovery of good water around 1766 gave rise to the Shinkai (Opened by the Divine) name, it delivers the precise, deliberate craft of a brewery where the owner serves as toji.
