Description
Sakuragawa, meaning cherry blossom river, is a junmai ginjo from Horikawashuzoten Brewing Company in Ibaraki, the northernmost prefecture of the Kanto region. Brewed with local water and rice milled to at least 60 percent, it delivers the fragrant, fruit-forward character expected of the ginjo class with a soft, clean finish. Ibaraki's temperate climate and access to pure groundwater provide the foundation for this elegant, seasonally evocative expression.
