Description

Gomenshu takes its name from the historical license granted to the original Momenya brewery to supply sake to the shogunate. Brewed at a lower alcohol of 13 degrees by restricting fermentation, this tokubetsu junmai genshu develops a refreshing acidity and lighter body suited to food pairing.

"Otoyama" is a local sake brewed by the famous water of Asahikawa, Hokkaido. In 1977, he won the world's first Monde Selection Gold Award for sake. It has been awarded for 40 years since then, and has won many gold prizes at the Japanese and overseas liquor contests and national new sake appreciation.
