From the brewery
寛永年間(1624~)の灘酒の始祖と伝えられる「雑候屋(雑古屋)文右衞門」の屋号は、寛文から元禄にかけて特に栄え、全盛期には西宮の酒蔵の三分の一以上を占めるほど当時の西宮を代表する酒蔵でした。明治以降、この雑候屋の名は日本盛の創業者の一人、雑候屋(森本)甚兵衞が受け継ぎ、以来、日本盛の歴史に脈々と息づいてきました。そして平成の今、至高の銘酒に伝統の名を甦らせました。
