Brewed in Tokushima with local Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 58 percent, this nigori style junmai ginjo reaches 15.5 percent alcohol with a notably low sake meter value of minus 22. It carries full tropical fruit aromas and flavor, with the added sweetness and texture of suspended rice, a lightly creamy body, gentle acidity, and effervescence.

The Honke Matsuura Sake Brewery was founded in the first year of Culture (1804).
