Description

Manatsuru Shuzo's Mayahime Densetsu in its standard expression follows the brewery's long-standing philosophy of applying ginjo-class care to every product brewed at its Echizen Ono, Fukui, home. Drawing on Oshozu spring water, one of Japan's 100 Famous Waters, and locally sourced Gohyakumangoku rice, the sake offers clean mineral clarity, a gentle sweetness, and a refined, dry finish. The 'legend' in the name refers to a storied local princess whose spirit the brewery has long sought to honor in its sake.
