Brewed with well water drawn from the Izumi-Katsuragi mountain aquifer, it is crafted in the classic regional style emphasizing approachable flavor and clean drinkability.

Our company is located on the banks of the Kinokawa, which is familiar in the novel of Ariyoshi Koyama, designated as a World Heritage Site, and is said to have carried a sake barrel on the back of the horse to Mt. Koyasan. Hannya -yu is a liquor that is drunk at the temple. Junmai Ginjo Koyasan "Saint" Hanwakayu is a "special Koyasan local sake" made in the underground water at the foot of Koyasan, which was designated as a World Heritage Site in July 2004.
