Description
Hodarezake is the ceremonial sake of the Hodarezake Festival in the Tochio area of Niigata, produced by Koshimeijo as an offering tied to the Hodare Daishin shrine, where deities of agricultural and human fertility are enshrined. Sold in a novelty bottle shaped after the festival's sacred object, it is a regional futsu-shu with cultural significance as a gift for celebratory occasions.
