Description

A sake from Kondo Shuzo under the Hanahimesakura label in Ehime Prefecture, recognized with a gold prize award (Kinshojoshu). Ehime is a notable sake-producing region in Shikoku with a tradition of soft-water brewing. The Hanahimesakura brand draws on cherry blossom imagery to evoke the regional aesthetic.

This is the only small brewery founded in 1878, which remains in Niimama City, Ehime Prefecture. It is located near the "Tsunaga Fuchi", which was selected as one of the hundreds of famous waters in Heisei. It is the only local sake in Niihama in the soft soft water pumped from the 110m underground well and the sake brewing rice produced by contract farmers in Niihama city.
