Azumaichi Honjozo uses Saga no Hana, a sake rice developed specifically for Saga Prefecture, in an everyday honjozo from Gochouda Shuzo in Kashima. Saga no Hana reflects the prefecture's commitment to developing its own regional rice variety, and the Ariake Sea coastal groundwater gives this honjozo a uniquely local Kyushu character.
